Trustees approved a bid from Nelson Land Service to construct a retaining wall for the village’s new pavilion.
Speaker 1 introduced the open bid item and said only one formal bid had been received. Speaker 3 stated the bid amount as "15,120." Ronald West (Speaker 2) moved to approve the bid from Nelson Land Service; Speaker 3 seconded and trustees voted in favor. Danielle was directed to contact Nelson’s to obtain a start date and expected completion timeline.
Board members noted remaining pavilion work — the concrete pad and the actual pavilion structure — will be bid separately and brought back to the board. Staff said they had reformatted bid documents to streamline future procurement.
