Trustees of the Village of Four Seasons voted to adopt a resolution joining the Buchanan County multi‑jurisdictional local hazard mitigation plan for 2025.
Renita, who introduced the item, said the county reviews the plan every five years and each municipality must pass a resolution so their materials can be compiled and sent to FEMA. Danielle read the resolution aloud by title as "Resolution number R25Dot01, a resolution of the Village of Four Seasons, Missouri adopting the Buchanan County multi jurisdictional local hazard mitigation plan for 2025." After motions to conduct a first and second reading by title, trustees answered in the affirmative and the readings were approved.
The board discussed next steps for paperwork and signatures: Paul will contact Devin, who has been leading the county program, and staff will correct a date on the signed copy before circulating it. The trustees thanked Paul and Renita for months of work preparing the materials.
The votes to read and approve the resolution were taken by voice; the reading motions were carried and the resolution will be forwarded to the Council of Governments ahead of their March meeting for inclusion in the county submission to FEMA.
