Administrator Canfield presented a draft RFP for municipal community services derived from council direction at a July 13 special meeting and said staff sought approval based on substance while accepting minor typographical edits via email. Canfield said once approved she expected to post the RFPs "within the next 24 to 48 hours."
Council moved to approve the community services RFP (motion by Council member Bailey, seconded) and voted unanimously. The council subsequently approved a second RFP with the same procedural direction; that motion also passed unanimously. Canfield said staff will post both RFPs to the procurement portal (BidNet) and begin receiving bids.
