The chair said the decision meant the commission’s action on the matter was concluded for tonight and directed parties to follow up with city staff for next steps.
The vote stopped the appellant’s request from proceeding to the separate review of minor-variation standards; if the commission had approved the appeal, it would have proceeded to make findings on those standards. The commission did not take further testimony or make additional findings on the minor-variation standards during this session.
