Commission to invite Dr. Shabazz to present on new UMass-funded research

The commission supported inviting Dr. Shabazz to an upcoming meeting (the chair asked Goodspeed to reach out), noting that his research and potential graduate-student support could help advance the commission's study and implementation planning. "He applied for it and got a recent grant to continue this study," Goodspeed said, and commissioners agreed to attempt scheduling him for the August meeting.
