The presenter added that some major function categories are looking slightly over budget, and a budget resolution will be needed next month to appropriate higher-than-anticipated SIA and state grant receipts.

Staff clarified that the district will watch major functions closely and will bring a formal budget resolution for the board to approve when details are finalized. No formal budget adoption occurred at this meeting; staff said the formal resolution would appear on next month’s agenda.
