Carl Braun Grama, assistant director of public works for the town of New Carlisle, confirmed the town conducted a public hearing and reported no public comment opposing the changes. The commission then moved for approval and adopted the amended ordinance by roll call vote.
The APC’s approval finalizes the commission’s review of the town council’s amendments under state law; if APC had disapproved, the town council would have been required to reconvene and re‑vote on the amendments.
