The selectmen approved updated water permit fees and other utility fees at the July 21 meeting after a public hearing during which no members of the public attended.
"I move that we approve the water permit fees and other utility fees, as noticed in the public notice for the public hearing," the chair said when making the motion; it was seconded and approved by voice vote. The chair noted that no one attended the public hearing and that the board would revisit specific fee amounts later as part of fee-setting under the consolidated Chapter 56 fee schedule.
The transcript does not include the fee tables themselves; the chair said the town will assign specific fees later and that some maximums are determined by state guidelines.
