Council approves police computer purchase, contract amendment and property donation acceptance

Perry City Council approved several operational items at its July 21 meeting, including a purchase of police computer replacements, acceptance of a donated stormwater pond parcel, and an amendment to the city’s operations contract with Inframark (doing business as ESG Operations).
Finance/staff member Miss McDonald (speaker 20) presented three direct‑source quotes for police computer replacements and recommended the lowest quote through Amazon for a total of $19,199.84; she said the purchase will be funded through SPLOST public‑safety allocation. Mr. McMurrayan (speaker 21) presented a resolution accepting donation of a stormwater pond parcel associated with the Tiffany South Phase 2 subdivision near King’s Chapel Road; staff inspected the pond and recommended acceptance. Mr. McMurrayan also described Amendment No. 29 to the Inframark contract, which replaces sections on base fee/scope and establishes an annual chemical budget previously approved by the city.
Each item was moved, seconded and approved unanimously on the record.
