Finance staff presented the district’s tentative fiscal-year 2027 budget and the board voted to place it on display for the required 30-day public review period ahead of final approval in September.
"As we get closer and we know more of our fixed costs as well as know our revenues, we will have this budget much more accurate than September," finance staff said, noting final Evidence-Based Funding (EBF) and CPPRT numbers were not yet available and the budget will be revised before final adoption. The board recorded a roll-call approval to place the tentative budget on display. Staff also described transfers from working cash to transportation fund related to planned bus purchases next year.
