Nonprofit application window closed June 19; eligibility for CDBG activities depends on HUD national objectives

"In order for it to be an eligible activity, it has to meet 1 of the 3 national objectives," he said, noting those objectives are to benefit low- and moderate-income persons, prevent slum or blight, or address urgent community needs. Romulus used the example of free swimming lessons at the Cosgrove Pool, saying eligibility would turn on who the program serves.
