Commissioners confirmed the slate by voice vote.
Commissioners discussed courthouse hours amid concerns about declining revenues; one commissioner said the board preferred keeping the current schedule "until we can supplement our revenue." The board voted to continue the courthouse schedule as presented.
The board also designated the Cortez Journal as the county's official newspaper, noting possible future state-level changes that could expand publication options. The decision on the newspaper and liaison appointments will be finalized on signed documents circulated after the meeting.
