Commission denies second short-term rental application for duplex at 2503 W. 22nd Ave.

The Stillwater Planning Commission on July 21 denied a short-term rental application for 2503 West 22nd Avenue, the other side of a duplex previously considered, by a 3-0 vote. Staff noted the property is the adjoining half of a duplex and that there are no current short-term rental licenses in the surrounding block.
As with the earlier duplex application, no applicant or public speakers were present. Staff reiterated the criteria for decisions (neighborhood character, traffic conditions, utilities, drainage and general welfare). A commissioner moved to deny, another seconded, and the motion passed 3-0.
