Staff offers Jan. 21 and Jan. 28 meeting options as audits near completion

Committee staff (Chris) reviewed the calendar of upcoming audits and said chairman Francis set the next meeting for Jan. 28 to accommodate a statutorily required Department of Commerce briefing. Chris also said Department of Revenue was tentatively scheduled to update the committee on HPIP numbers on Jan. 28.
Staff reported the tax-exempt properties audit and SNAP payment error-rate audit were wrapping up and could be available for a meeting on Jan. 21, though members would not receive the audits a full week in advance. Committee members discussed scheduling constraints and tentatively agreed to aim for both Jan. 21 (if audits are ready) and Jan. 28, with staff to finalize logistics.
