Lonsdale fifth-grader Millie Maderas named national Max Courage Award winner

The moderator noted that all fifth-grade students at Lonsdale participated in the program and that Millie's essay will be catalogued at the Boston Public Library.
School leaders called the selection a notable achievement and invited Millie to the front of the meeting for recognition and photographs.
