The Cowlitz County Board of Commissioners approved minutes and its consent agenda after a brief review of several routine items. The chair summarized that the consent package included a community development reconveyance of a lien following a house sale, a Dyke Road construction contract that came in under the engineer’s estimate, and a pavement overlay change order that the chair said reflected "more material used" and an "increase of $20,480 and some odd cents." The board voted in favor of the consent agenda.
The chair also told the board that vouchers for the week totaled $1,461,381.10. No board member asked to pull items for separate discussion and the consent approvals were taken by voice vote. The meeting then moved to scheduled public hearings.
