City reports 13 offers extended for Project Phoenix; seven firefighter openings remain

Staff said the 13 hires leave seven positions to fill before the planned October 1 service transition; council members responded positively and asked that when hires are introduced to the council their names be provided phonetically. No budget adjustments were discussed in the update.
