Delran council approves consent agenda, appoints Turek Consulting and renews maintenance contracts

On Aug. 12 the Delran Township Council adopted a consent agenda that included routine and administrative resolutions: refunds for road-opening deposits and vendor fees; increasing the bid threshold pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-3; extensions of maintenance contracts with Municipal Maintenance Co. for mechanical and electrical apparatus; authorizing change order No. 2 for the 2024 Road Program; authorizing engineering services by CME Associates for the Swedes Run Interceptor inspection and Pancoast Pump Station improvements; approving sewer connection applications for specified lots on Route 130 South; and accepting CFO and Tax Collector reports including July year-to-date revenue and budget reports. The roll call for the consent agenda was unanimous.
Separately, the council adopted Resolution 2025-128 appointing Turek Consulting, LLC as special projects engineer. The council also approved minutes for prior meetings (June 24, July 8 and July 22) with one abstention on the June 24 minutes recorded for Mrs. Apeadu.
