A staff presenter introduced the Soundmasters, a 4th–5th grade choir that meets weekly during the school enrichment period and currently includes 24 students. The presenter told the board the group performed for the school's Veterans Day program and at the town Christmas tree lighting and said the choir may reopen enrollment in the spring.
The presenter described a short sample recording taken during rehearsal and highlighted upcoming dates: the Fame Festival in Fort Wayne on March 14–15 and a district 4th–5th grade concert on March 9. "We have 24 students currently in it," the presenter said, adding the group had been "very faithful in attending" performances. Board members praised the students and the program, and the presenter expressed interest in arranging a visit to a local nursing home for a future performance.
