EDC pauses micro-business grant listing and discusses intake/screening processes

The Chair said the micro business grant program wording on the website was confusing and moved to take the item off the site temporarily while staff and a consultant redraft language. Separately, the Chair presented plans to adopt simple online intake forms and a clear workflow for business screening, citing Port Arthur's sample forms as a model. Dr. Brown reported a sponsorship subcommittee meeting with the university and said the committee's directive was to connect with the university sponsorship lead to obtain pricing and have that person meet the board to answer questions.
