Union City Borough Manager Cindy Wells reported Oct. 7 that the borough has secured three grants totaling $264,000 for continued first-floor improvements at the City Building. The grants include $75,000 from the ECGRA Anchor Building Grant, $35,000 from the Helping Today Grant with the ECF, and $154,000 from the Community Project Fund through Representative Mike Kelly's office.
Wells said the combined funds will be used for improvements on the first floor of the City Building. Council did not record substantive questions or objections in the minutes; the report was filed as part of routine borough manager updates.
