During the announcements segment, commissioners summarized incoming correspondence: Aileen’s excerpts (the "Dignity Index") in the Selectboard packet, an email from Matt Bachler at the Windham Regional Planning Commission about ACT 181, a VLCT email, and a Southern Vermont (SoVT) economic development event scheduled for Dec. 2, 2025. Jennifer Greenfield also noted a VLCT program on short-term rentals in Fairlee (Oct. 8) and reported receiving an email from Patty Eisenhaur asking the commission to consider ½-acre lots in the village if tied to wastewater service.
Brent Bammarito said that preserving space for wastewater infrastructure could accommodate about seven new houses; Pamela Spaulding said she will attend the next wastewater meeting to request an updated map showing where wastewater service will run and how it affects lots. Jen also noted a Blue Flame Land Use Permit update that not all members had received.
