Planning Commission accepts resignation of Ryan Anderson

The Londonderry Planning Commission on Aug. 11 accepted the resignation of Ryan Anderson, who wrote that increased job and personal demands require him to step away from his role with the Town of Londonderry. Pamela J. Spaulding, Clerk, read Anderson's resignation aloud and moved that the commission accept it and forward the notice to the Selectboard, the Town Administrator, the Town Clerk and the Town Treasurer; Brent Bammarito seconded and the motion passed unanimously.

Anderson's email (read into the record) said, "After careful consideration, I have decided that stepping away from my current role is the best decision at this time." Commissioners asked how Anderson would be paid for hours already worked; Spaulding said he was expected to submit his time to the Town Treasurer for processing. The commission did not record further details about an effective date for the resignation beyond the written notice. The action will be forwarded to the listed town officials for any administrative follow-up.
