Lincoln Planning Commission tells ACRPC it is 'not interested' in Act 181 changes

Jo reported that the Planning Commission had concluded that Lincoln does not fit the circumstances that would make Act 181 advantageous and recommended leaving Act 250 in place; she said the Planning Commission’s suggested response to the Addison County Regional Planning Commission (ACRPC) was that "we are not interested."
Ken said he understood the state’s objective to address housing but said the Planning Commission’s view should guide the Selectboard’s reply to ACRPC. The board discussed next steps for a formal response and the need for the Selectboard to close the loop with the Planning Commission so the region receives a clear municipal position.
