Discussion included remonumentation and surveying (Tom described the county's remonumentation work and options for contracting or prioritizing corners), property and environmental management mandates (Chase outlined mandated reclamation, flood-control structures and snowmobile-trail grant administration), and opportunities to use interns or targeted staff to expand grant work. The committee asked staff to bring back two or more draft options for planning/zoning policy rather than a single plan.
