The Village of Valley Stream Board of Trustees met to consider a series of routine resolutions and voted to enter an executive session to discuss personnel and litigation matters.
Mayor Bair presided over the meeting and led the board through roll call before the body moved, seconded and approved a sequence of resolutions covering minutes, tax-cert settlements, a building-permit renewal (B24377), approval of purchases and proposals, temporary parking- and street-closures, and rules for use of village facilities. Mayor Bair repeatedly moved the items forward, and roll-call votes recorded support from the trustees.
The board also approved Resolution 135-26 to authorize payment of mid-vouchers in a routine finance action. A motion "to close a regular meeting with the executive session for personnel litigation matters" was made, seconded and carried on roll call; the public portion ended with the mayor thanking attendees.
Votes at a glance: the transcript records roll-call affirmation for the listed resolutions; individual tallies in each roll call were recorded as affirmative by trustees present (transcript records each roll call as “Yes” responses by trustees).
