The Claymont City Board of Education on Jan. 12, 2026 administered the Board Member Oath of Office to Lois Grandison, Cyndy Host and Michelle Wolf, officially seating the three newly elected trustees. Treasurer Kim Beckley administered the oath during the organizational meeting, which began at 6:00 p.m. in the district's Administrative Office.
Board members and district leaders listed as present included Solomon Peters (presiding), Martha Campbell, Brian Rentsch (Superintendent), Jodie Miles (Assistant Superintendent/Curriculum Director/Federal Programs Director) and other district administrators. The swearing-in established the board's full membership ahead of officer elections and the approval of organizational items later in the meeting.
The newly seated members joined the board as it moved on to elect officers and set its 2026 meeting schedule and committee assignments.
