City Treasurer Jessica Bragg provided a financial overview for September and year-to-date metrics during the Oct. 15 meeting. She reported a September starting checking balance of $1,260,033.89, total monthly revenue of $123,392.66, total monthly expenditures of $92,749.88, and an ending checking balance of $1,296,676.67; total city cash and investments were listed as $2,208,419.44.
Bragg also reported a savings-account balance of $676,323.36 (quarterly interest $255.61) and an investment-pool balance of $241,419.41 (September earnings $851.38). Staff noted revenue represented 9.8% of the year while expenditures represented 7.4%.
