The Warwick Township Board approved Change Order #1 to B.R. Kreider & Sons on June 17 to add sidewalk at the Toll Gate Road frontage to the SR501 North sidewalk contract.
Township Manager Brian Harris told the Board the SR501 sidewalk project between Wynfield Drive and Newport Road includes steel‑span bridges to cross the Santo Domingo and that the bridges are "approximately 80–90’ long steel span bridges." Harris added that the township will be responsible for winter maintenance of those bridges and will need temporary construction and sidewalk easements from adjacent property owners; the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is involved in the permitting process.
The change order incorporates frontage that was originally proposed in the Palasz land development plan but not recorded by the developer; the Board approved the change order on a motion by Ken Eshleman, seconded by Ken Kauffman.
