Township Manager Brian Harris told the Board the project would cover a stretch from E. Newport Road to properties along Orchard Road to address bank erosion. "The Township is applying for an $85,000.00 grant for engineering, design and permitting for a section of Moore’s Run," Harris said, and added the township would provide a $12,000 match and in‑kind feasibility and mapping services.
The Board approved the resolution with one abstention: Supervisor Kelly Gutshall recused herself due to a conflict of interest. The application is intended to fund preliminary engineering and permitting only; the resolution does not obligate the township to construction funding beyond the match and in‑kind work. The next steps are to submit the grant application and await DEP review; no construction contracts were authorized at the meeting.
