The Planning Commission on July 28 decided to postpone conducting a public survey after discussing logistics and staffing. Pam Spaulding said the Select Board approved the survey questions but raised expectations about transparency and how results would be published. She summarized copier costs and that the commission could use the transfer station without filing a facility use form.
Pam told the commission she was only available for one Saturday in August and that some members (including Steven) had limited availability for staffing outreach; she therefore moved to table doing the survey at this time. Trevor seconded and the motion carried unanimously. The minutes record that the commission retains control of the survey content and distribution and will revisit the effort if member availability or resources change.
