Commission edits Land Use wording, tables Town History until August

The Planning Commission reviewed proposed wording changes to Chapter 2 (Land Use) that were circulated by Zoning Administrator Will Goodwin. Commissioners discussed deletions and refinements intended to align the chapter with current background data and statutory expectations.
Pam Spaulding moved to table the Town History portion of the Town Plan until at least August to allow more information to be gathered; Steven Twitchell seconded and the motion carried unanimously. Commissioners assigned specific drafting tasks: Jennifer Greenfield to work on goals and objectives and Pam to update the Land Use section, with Matt Bachler available for technical questions from Windham RPC.
