In staff announcements at the July 14 meeting, Brandon told the commission that the ordinances amending manufactured-home park standards, the comprehensive plan change, and zoning had passed first reading and would go before city council for second reading and final adoption on July 21. He also said council will take first reading on a modified ordinance addressing manufactured-home park tenant protections on July 21, and that the commission had been provided with materials from legal review.
Brandon framed these as informational for the commission; no action was requested or required of the Planning Commission on the council's scheduling. Staff encouraged commissioners to review the council packet for details of the legal review and to follow the council schedule for any public-engagement opportunities that may arise.
