County denies one BOE appeal, reduces another and approves Health West exemption
Summary

Kim Wilson, Rich County Assessor, presented a continued property tax exemption application for Health West, which the commission accepted after a motion by Commissioner Cox and second by Commissioner Lee.
Ms. Wilson also presented three appeals required by the state Board of Equalization process: the commission denied the first appeal for lack of verifiable proof, voted to reduce the second appeal to match the closest sold property, and dismissed a third appeal that had been remanded to the county after a notice-of-intent-to-dismiss was not previously sent and no response followed the corrected notice. The motions were recorded as unanimous.
