Chairman Simeon B. Weston opened a public hearing on Ordinance 025-1, the Rich County Ordinance for the County Trails Board. County Attorney Ben Willoughby read and reviewed the proposed ordinance and the Commission heard public comments and recommended changes before closing the hearing.
Following public input, Commissioner Jonathan B. Lee moved to approve Ordinance 025-1 with the recommended edits; Commissioner William E. Cox seconded and the measure was approved unanimously. The record shows the Commission adopted the ordinance after the hearing and directed staff to implement the changes reflected in the approved version.
