Township Manager Brian Harris presented two change orders to B.R. Kreider for work at the Lititz Run at Ballstown Road Floodplain Restoration Project. Change Order #5 for $7,535 covers grading around the main parking area at the Millport Conservancy. Change Order #6 for $41,664 covers installation of 10,000 herbaceous planting plugs in the floodplain; Harris stated that "these funds will be reimbursed to the Township as part of the grant." The minutes note there are sufficient grant funds to cover the planting cost.
On motions by Ken Kauffman (seconded by Jeff Tennis), the Board approved both change orders. Supervisor Kelly Gutshall abstained from both votes due to a conflict of interest.
