County judge names nominees to regional boards; court approves substitutions

At the July 27 meeting, Judge Keith Mudd presented several nominations to the GCRPC board and regional advisory committees and the court approved them.
Mudd said he will remain an incumbent for the GCRPC general assembly alongside Wayne Faircloth and proposed Chief Deputy Carl Herbst as a substitute on the Regional Public Safety Advisory Committee for Chief Randy Schlock. "I'd like to nominate Carl Herbst to be the substitute for Randy Schlock at this time," Mudd said. The court also approved EMS director Michael Burr to replace Yvonne Rodriguez on the public safety advisory committee.
All nominations were moved, seconded and approved without discussion. The appointments will align county representation with upcoming term expirations on the regional panels.
