The Claymont City Board of Education on March 9 approved the district's February financial report and the payment of bills, and accepted minutes of prior meetings as presented. Treasurer Kim Beckley presented the February financial presentation to the board.
The board approved a resolution accepting the amounts and rates as determined by the Tuscarawas County Budget Commission and authorizing necessary tax levies. The resolution listed permanent improvement at 4.2 mills ($1,241,000) and current expense (general) at 20.5 mills ($5,300,000), plus additional mills and dollar figures recorded as presented to the board. The board also approved participation in the OSBA Legal Assistance Fund and a request for assistance from that fund. On roll call vote, all five members voted yes.
