SC State and USIU-Africa delegations present visiting doctoral students in Orangeburg

"We have, 20, 21 students from the continent of Africa... They're visiting us for 2 weeks," the SC State representative said, emphasizing the value of international exposure for students. Timothy Okech, dean of the Chandaria School of Business at United States International University Africa (USIU-Africa), also introduced 21 doctoral candidates in business administration and outlined USIU-Africa's focus on transformative teaching, research and community engagement.
A visiting student, John McDungo, thanked Orangeburg for its hospitality during the group's visit. Council members received the delegations and expressed appreciation for the international partnership; the meeting did not record any formal county action tied to the visits.
