Treasurer Rohde provided a line-item accounting of the Eric Carmen concert held in fall 2025. "The reporting shows that $60,585 was collected in gross ticket sales," Rohde said, and after $13,010 in ticket discounts and $333 in refunds the net revenue deposited into the district’s LHS orchestra account was "$47,242." Rohde added that credit-card processing fees for online transactions were $1,850 and "were paid for by the district." He also said a donations option on the event page recorded "$0 in donations received."
A board member raised concerns about how fees and payments were handled and whether purchasers had alternatives to card payments; Rohde said he would check whether non-electronic payment options had been offered for that event. The treasurer explained that some event personnel costs were charged to district funds while other event-specific expenses were paid from the orchestra account.
Board members accepted the accounting and asked staff to confirm whether payment options were offered to buyers and to supply any additional breakdowns of event expenses. The treasurer said the records are audited by the state and that the district maintains designated line-item accounts for clubs and activities.
