Nooksack council approves April minutes, reissues payments and sells 1973 Dodge dump truck

Councilmember Dave Finet moved to approve the April 20, 2026 minutes; Councilmember Marshall Judy seconded and the motion carried. Mayor Kevin Hester opened the lone sealed bid for the city's 1973 Dodge dump truck; the bid was from Kevin Rinehart for $1,500. Councilmember Judy moved to accept the sealed bid of $1,500 from Kevin Rinehart; Councilmember Finet seconded and the motion carried.
On finance items, Councilmember Judy moved to void Claims Clearing Fund check #20869 for $5,263.51 due to a vendor update, reissue Claims Clearing Fund checks #20898-20899 for $5,263.51, approve Claims Clearing Fund #20900-20914 for $22,025.88, and approve Payroll Fund checks #11525-11545 for $45,223.76; Councilmember Steve Neyens seconded. The motion carried and the payments were approved.
