Housing Commission Chair Patti Eisenhauer asked the Selectboard to place an article on the Town Meeting warning to appropriate $25,000 of Meals and Rooms Option Tax receipts to the Community Economic Reserve Fund for Fiscal Year 2027. Eisenhauer said the funds would be used to support capital projects considered in the interest of businesses and housing, a similar request to one made the prior year.
Selectboard members agreed to add the article to the Town Meeting warning; there was no formal vote recorded beyond the decision to include the request on the warning. The board did not decide funding mechanics at the meeting and deferred final budget appropriation decisions to the town meeting process.
