Town approves expanded MERP scope and selects basement insulation bid for Town Hall

WRC proposed increasing its project management contract by $4,000 and allocating roughly $12,684 for other MERP soft costs to cover expanded insulation and building‑performance measures.
After discussion, the Selectboard voted unanimously to approve the recommended MERP allocations and the amended scope, which includes building‑wide insulation, air sealing and attic hatches to improve year‑round usability. The board also accepted the bid from Vermont Foam Insulation for basement insulation (estimated cost $25,084.25) and authorized the Town Administrator to execute necessary documents.
