Wastewater committee warns North Village capacity may limit hookups; recommendation coming

Gary Hedman told the Selectboard that North Village sewer capacity is smaller than the South Village and that demand for hookups exceeds that capacity. Hedman warned that not all applicants may receive the hookups they requested.
The committee’s evaluation will consider total gallons and waste strength, especially from restaurants, to balance system load. The Selectboard was advised that the recommendation will try to address higher-strength waste and overall system constraints.
