Selectboard approves $20,000 amendment for Spring Hill Road culvert contract

Selectboard members were told the Spring Hill Road easement process took longer than expected but that VTrans has approved the right-of-way, allowing the culvert project to proceed. Because of the delay, project costs increased and the project team requested a $20,000 contract amendment to the Hoyle & Tanner contract to cover the additional expense.
Taylor Prouty moved to approve the contract amendment and authorized the Town Administrator to sign on behalf of the town; James Ameden seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. The Town Administrator will execute the amendment and the project will proceed with updated cost estimates.
