Property owner Scott Ross asked the Selectboard for approval to allow Green Mountain Power (GMP) to run underground electric service from a town-owned pole to 2486 VT Route 11.
The Selectboard approved the request on the condition that the project comply with FEMA buyout guidelines because the town-owned pole sits on a FEMA buyout property. The motion to approve was moved by Taylor Prouty, seconded by Jim Fleming, and passed unanimously. Staff were directed to review FEMA buyout rules before permitting work to proceed.
