The Macksville USD 351 Board entered executive session several times during the May 11 meeting for different purposes. At 8:13 PM the board moved into executive session for up to 15 minutes to discuss personnel and to protect privacy interests of individuals under discussion (Reso #163); the session was extended at 8:28 PM for an additional 15 minutes (Reso #164). Superintendent Mike Sanders was asked to remain for those sessions.
Later the board again entered executive session at 9:45 PM for up to 10 minutes to discuss employer–employee negotiations (Reso #171) and at 9:55 PM for up to 20 minutes to discuss personnel (Reso #172); the superintendent was asked to remain. Open meeting reconvened and the meeting adjourned at 10:15 PM. The minutes record motions, seconder names, and unanimous votes to enter and extend executive sessions as recorded in the official Resolutions.
