At its June 25 meeting the Fryeburg Select Board approved the listed board and committee appointments by unanimous vote after a brief discussion about combining committees and the need to recruit members.
Jim Tyrrell moved for approval and the motion passed. Tyrrell asked that individuals who spoke at town meeting be invited to future workshops when the Select Board revisits the Forfeiture of Office and Vacancy Ordinance: Tom Klinepeter, Chet Charette, and Ed Price. Ed Price asked that his draft recall ordinance be forwarded to the board.
The board did not adopt any immediate structural changes to committees at the meeting; members asked staff to consider membership and consolidation options for future discussion.
