The Claymont City Board of Education approved multiple policy actions at the March 9 meeting. Approved policy items included updates and adoptions for policy 1.03 (policy formulation and dissemination), 1.15 (Board meetings), 6.01 (academic acceleration/early entrance/early high school graduation), and 6.08 (Artificial Intelligence). The Board also approved a new policy 7.38 (NIL/Personal Branding Rights) and a new policy 8.26 (Prohibition Against Purchase of Certain Foods).
The Board rescinded policy 9.22 (Loss of Driving Privileges) and policy 9.27 (Prohibition and Reporting of Sexual Abuse). These policy votes were part of the superintendent's recommendations and were approved by the Board during the meeting.
