In response, the board approved the superintendent’s recommendation to advertise for bids to replace the fire alarm system.
The authorization to advertise bids does not itself award a contract; the board recorded the authorization in the superintendent’s recommendations (accepted at the meeting) and will consider bids and any contract awards at a future meeting.
